Give us a call. You can phone Delfryn Design between 10.00am. and 6.00pm. (tel. 01352 741089) Monday - Saturday. At this stage we will discuss your requirements and give you our thoughts on the way your site may be organised. If you are able to provide photographs (either on disk or conventional photos) and text for your site we will ask you to send them to us, perhaps with a sketch indicating the type of layout you would like, or you can leave it to us! Alternatively, if you don’t have photos or you would like us to prepare suitable text, a site meeting can be arranged at your premises. At this stage we will check to see if your chosen domain name is available and advise you of alternatives (e.g. yourname.co.uk may not be available, but yourname.biz may be).
Home Page. We will then prepare your home page (the first page people see when they visit your site) and load it to one of our test sites. Once you have approved the format of your home page we will prepare your additional pages. Your text and meta tags will be optimised to help search engines find your pages. At each stage of development we will upload your site to one of our test sites where you can view it and ensure it works as you wish. This whole process is likely to take between 10 and 21 days to complete, depending on the size and complexity of your site.
Publication. When you have approved the site we will load it to permanent web space accessed by your domain name. We will submit your web site to the search engines, web directories, local and subject specific directories. Please note that it can take several weeks to be added to the main web search engines and directories. We want to ensure that you are completely happy with your web site, so we will make any changes you require in the first 21 days without charge. At that point we request the balance of your payment.
Changes. If you require changes to your site after the first 21 days (e.g. price changes, contact details, opening times etc.) please e-mail them to us. We will endeavour to make the changes to your site within 7 days though this may be extended during holiday periods etc. Minor amendments may be carried out free of charge.
